Lionwerx began operations in the spring of 2006. Based in Nashville, TN the company is providing implementation and integration services to energy industry clients internationally.

Management Team

A software developer and consultant for 20 years, Mr. Lewis has worked in a variety of industries, including healthcare, child welfare, education, and financial accounting. As a senior implementation architect at SPL WorldGroup for 7 years, he consulted on customer care and billing related technologies for utility companies internationally. Mr. Lewis has also served as project manager, project architect, database architect, and software developer. His career has included working as an independent consultant, and as an employee of several large technology companies including Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Majestic Systems.

Kevin McCaslin has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, with a specialization in designing, configuring, and developing web-based and database-driven systems across several industries including healthcare, child welfare, finance, banking, governmental, and energy. As Director of Software Operations with Qualifacts Systems, Inc, he was responsible for the oversight and management of customer implementations of the company’s CareLogic application. Mr. McCaslin has served as vice president, senior director, manager, project manager, project architect, database architect, and software developer. Mr. McCaslin has specialized in the development and operational management of software development teams over his career. Mr. McCaslin’s career has included working as an independent consultant, and as a veteran of several startup companies such as Qualifacts Systems, digiChart, Educational Networks of America, Vivra Network Systems, and as an officer and co-founder of Spectrum Enterprise Systems. He has also worked for large consulting services firms such as IBM Global Services, Keane, and Microsoft Consulting Services. Distinctions include Microsoft Certified Professional and a Certified SCRUM Master.

A senior business consultant and services/project director with over 25 years of experience in the management of information technology projects, business management and strategic planning in the energy and software industries. Jim has a diverse background in electric and gas utilities, solid waste industry, tax management, and telecommunications.
